KeryFlex Nail Restoration System
KeryFlex is a cosmetic treatment that can help improve the appearance of damaged and broken nails. This innovative solution is a composite resin that can be applied to existing nails and nail beds to create a natural looking, durable, and non porous nail that allows the remaining natural nail to grow. The application of KeryFlex is simple and pain free. First, we will assess the nails to see if KeryFlex is appropriate, then we will conservatively file down the nails to create a nice even surface for bonding to occur. The first layer is a bonding agent which allows the nail to attach to the resin which is carefully applied with precision. The nails are then hardened with ultraviolet light and finally a sealant is applied and hardened as well to create the perfect nail. All of this takes as little as 30 minutes, although we normally allow more time to make the nail as perfect as possible.
Unlike traditional acrylic or gel nails, KeryFlex is a long term solution that provides an immediate cosmetic improvement. The composite resin creates a flexible and durable nail that can withstand exposure to acetone, nail polishes, and detergents.
